The project
Alaska Airlines converted its Longacres building into a single hub for company-wide training and operations. The facility houses flight simulators, mock aircraft fuselages, evacuation slides and other specialised training environments, alongside classrooms, offices, an auditorium and dining spaces.
What was delivered
The renovation balanced selective reuse of existing infrastructure with full replacement where performance and reliability demanded it. Working with the general contractor, the project team upgraded mechanical, plumbing and low-voltage systems throughout.
- Replacement of outdated low-voltage equipment and installation of new infrastructure
- Integration of new and retained systems so they operate as one
- Modernised building controls supporting energy efficiency
- Construction sequencing coordinated around an operating campus
The outcome
A modern, dependable training facility with infrastructure ready to support the airline's people and operations for years to come.
